THERMATECH FIRE CONSULTANTS LIMITED (TFC) was formed in 1992 to provide a high level of fire engineering expertise. This expertise being based upon many years of knowledge and a good understanding of fire legislation, both in the United Kingdom but also overseas.
We are able to offer advice on all aspects of fire safety both passive and active, in accordance with the legislation in force at the time of the enquiry.
We are well versed in the fire safety needs of the 'Built environment' and understanding the challanges that modern buildings pose when it comes to fire development and human bahaviour.
All our consultants are experienced in many facets of fire safety and fire engineering and able to provide sound advice on the requirements to suit your needs. We only make recommendations that will satisfy your legal and compliance obligations and, at the same time assessing the financial impact.
Our existing client base is varied and geographically large. Our primary area of operation is the UK and Europe but certain industries require us to visit facilities overseas i.e. Asia and the Middle East.
Over the past 6 years, there have been many changes in fire safety requirements affecting 'life safety' with relevent premisses (relevent being as required within the Fire Safety Order 2005). These changes have come into effect as a direct result of major fires where in several cases, lives have tragicaly been lost. Resultant enquiries, some still ongoing, have highlited the need to radicaly change how fire safety is addressed within the 'built environment'. This has included the building design, materials used, methods employed in contsruction and the keeping of fire safety information for the intended lifetime of the building.
