Whilst not having the types of fire hazards identified within a large industrial complex, these buildings represent an area that we all come into contact with from time to time. These building often hold functions and events that will see many hundreds of members of the public entering them. It is the owner/operators duty of care to ensure that whilst the public are in the building they have the comfort that the highest levels of fire safety has been afforded them.
Under the new legislation due to come into force on the 1st of October 2006, the committees or owners of these facilities have a legal obligation to make sure that fire safety is paramount in the operating of these types of premises. We are able to provide a tailored package of risk assessments to ensure that you are compliant with the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
